There is a wonderful walking/biking trail that is stroller and wheelchair friendly at the Vanderhoof Community Museum. The loop-trail goes through the lovely forest behind the museum site, and passes along Stoney Creek. There are interpretive signs along the trail that provides interesting facts about the museum grounds and the nature you may encountered along the way.
Available at the museum site and the Visitor Centre is a Tour Card of the Nature Trail. It provides a map of the trail, key stops and some more detail about the site. Click on the image below to see the tour card in full. Enjoy your walk along the Heritage Nature Trail!
